For this speech, I would like to inform the class about the Make a Wish Foundation. I am on the executive board for Maryland Wishes, the Maryland branch of this charity. This foundation, with its 69 chapters in the US and even more in the 65 countries they serve, raises money and tries to grant a wish to a terminally ill child. I got involved in this club last year and it has become near and dear to my heart and so I would like to inform the class about this really great organization!
