"Is that your final answer?"

One question that I got wrong was #35, which asks "What kind of questions invite interviewees to elaborate on their responses?" The four options were:
A. Probes
B. Open-ended questions
C. Direct questions
D. Mirror questions
I thought that the correct answer was B. Open-ended questions, but the correct answer is actually C. Direct questions. Direct questions are very explicit, and require specific examples. A real-life example of this would be when I was interviewing Keith Gross (a lawyer), and I asked him "What are some of the hardest things about your job?" He then proceed to tell specific things that made his job difficult.
