A Day at the Beach

Ever since I was a little girl, my family has gone to the Outer Banks almost every summer. We have become very interested in lighthouses due to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse located near the area we often visited.
In recent years, we have visited many more lighthouses in many different areas along the East Coast. I chose lighthouses as my topic because each lighthouse is unique and have its own characteristics. They each have their own story to tell. Many people do not know how interesting lighthouses can be. I feel this topic will keep the class interested and will inform them of the beauties hidden in these old and usually forgot structures.
