College is all about gaining a new view on life and getting exposure to different opinions and cultures. So what better way to do this than to study abroad! For my speech, I would like to persuade people to take time to travel abroad during their undergraduate career here. By studying in a foreign country, you gain valuable experience that gives you useful skills, both tangible and intangible. There are many reasons why people do not take the time to travel, such as time constraints and financial issues, however I will go through these excuses and show the class that there really is no good reason for not taking up such an awesome opportunity.
